Welcome to the new UkuleleProject.co.uk website! The London Ukulele Project is now the Ukulele Project because we are now working with projects across the UK.

We believe in music for everyone

From Scotland to the South East, at the Ukulele Project, we are using music to bring people together, combat loneliness and promote wellbeing.
2nd February

National Ukulele Day

This National Ukulele Day we are challenging you to join us in making a pledge: to take our ukuleles out into the community, at some point this year, and to play our ukuleles to a friend, family member or neighbour. Even teach someone a song.

To help you fulfil this challenge we have put together a FREE activity pack with ideas, songsheets, worksheets and some info about loneliness and ideas on how to openly and positively talk about loneliness.

Our environmental pledge

It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. So since 2020, for every 30 ukuleles that we donate we pledge to plant 25 trees and promote a climate postitive workforce.
