Ukulele Club Liverpool

Ukulele Club Liverpool formed in 2012 after just 5 people attended the very first ukulele taster session and has since develop a full 3 year curriculum to take ukulele players from absolute beginner level to advanced level with three 10 week terms per year and a festival season to showcase our members dedicated learning. We teach ukulele using informal methods and techniques and have developed our own unique system that is accessible and user friendly for all. Each 10 week course consists of live classes as well as online zoom classes with a celebration showcase event at the end of each term at the local Cricket Club and you don’t even need to live in Liverpool to get involved.

We also deliver ukulele booster courses, specialising in the Beatles and advanced finger style training with Ukulele Uff, with people from all over the globe joining in. We also deliver workshops in Blues, Rock N roll, Rag Time, Song Writing, Band Building and Theory and run Vocal Booster courses twice a year at UCL HQ in Liverpool. We recently started ukulele courses for children too both online and in the class room. In 2020, we did our first Ukulele Retreat in the Lake in collaboration with Yin Yan Yoga which is set to become an annual event and help run World Ukulele Day events here in Liverpool.
