the east england ukulele project
The East England Ukulele Project was very recently started in December 2023 from its base in Linton, South Cambridgeshire.
Covering Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex we are actively looking to start networking between existing Ukulele Groups across East of England, as well as seeking new volunteers. Our area is wide with many rural communities – musical connections are so important!
We are currently reaching out to libraries in Cambridgeshire, with the help and advice from our friends and colleagues running the London Ukulele Project. We are so excited to grow and spread into more counties as we establish our project in our region.
If you are passionate about the ukulele, then we are looking for people to join our team - whether you are a teacher, professional musician, active hobbyist or just want to help out at events, we would love to hear from you.
