Joining a ukulele club is not only a great way of improving your ukulele playing, but also a brilliant way to meet kindred spirits and make new friends.
Horndean Ukulele Group
The Horndean Ukulele Group & Singers (HUGs) meet on Sunday afternoons at Horndean Technology College, during term time.
Beginners lessons are 1 to 1.45pm and there is a jamming session from 1.30 to 3pm.
The cost is £5 per week, paid termly online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/horndean-technology-college or by cheque/cash.
With ages ranging from 10 to 80 we are a friendly, supportive group who enjoy playing music together no matter what your ability.
We have several gigs a year, under the name The Ukes of Hazard plus run monthly travelling sessions in local pubs on a Tuesday evening where people can come and join in the fun.
