Teachers Workshop
Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop with Peter Luongo designed for teachers who want to bring more joy, confidence, and connection into the classroom through the ukulele.
Peter Luongo is visiting London from Canada on his way to The Ukulele Festival of Great Britain. He is one of the most experienced and highly regarded ukulele teachers/directors in the world. He has dedicated over 40 years to enhancing the lives of generations of music students young and old.
He is the founder and former Musical Director of the Langley Ukulele Ensemble, a dynamic group of young musicians from Canada. In 2016 he formed the Legacy Ukulele Ensemble, an ensemble of adult learners that has become a touring ensemble that performs regularly at ukulele festivals and events across the United States and Hawaii. Peter is internationally renowned for performances across North America, Japan, and Hawaii, and featured in the award-winning documentary The Mighty Uke.
We are so excited that his Legacy Ukulele Ensemble will be doing a short set at the end of the workshop so you can see what he teaches in action!
If you need to loan a ukulele there will be an opportunity to let us know when you check out.
