Welcome to the Ukulele Project website. Not just for ukulele players, for anyone interested in ending loneliness and promoting wellbeing

UKE Club Directory

Joining a ukulele club is not only a great way of improving your ukulele playing, but also a brilliant way to meet kindred spirits and make new friends.

Teignmouth

Firstly, we are members of Teignmouth & District u3a with a love of playing Ukuleles. We formed before Covid but then, as happened in so many walks of life, had to abandon our practice sessions throughout lockdown.

Early in 2023, we re-formed under David our present leader and inspiration. We meet on Mondays from 14:30-16:00 to play our instruments together and often have present more than 22 players of all playing abilities.

We have at least one difference from a lot of other ukulele groups; we are happy to teach and to coach the playing of a ukulele.
