The Hayling Library Pop-Up Ukulele Orchestra was formed in 2023 because all of the other ukulele clubs on the island were full. Many members of the Pop-Ups attended beginner classes run by the library and they have gone on to perform at local events, including Christmas Rhymetimes at local libraries, charity events and ukulele festivals. Anyone is welcome to join the group, which meets at Hayling Island Library every Wednesday from 1-2:30pm.
